Chinese New Year/Good Luck Party

orientaltrading.com provided me the parasols
the fortune cookies the hanging dragons the cute dragon pics
and the chopsticks

The produce was all purchased super cheap from Aldi.
The Dragons on the cake were cut with the cricut with edible
paper and then hand painted gold with edible paint.

We purchased our hor dourves from
Costco and kept them warm in a 3 compartment  crock pot
we purchased sprint rolls
General Sos Chicken and pot stickers.
Trader Joes also has tons of cheahor dourves.

The invites were cut with a paper cutter 1st 5" 1/2 inch
for Red to cut them in half and then 5" and 8" for the black
I downloaded 2 different Asian fonts for free from
For the name and date info on the invite
I used card stock for all 3 sheets of paper
I used the cricut cartridge "Pagota"
to cut the dragon shape and the asian doll shape.

I purchased these Shepards Hooks from Joann's.
They were 60% off and I had a coupon for them for an additional 10% off
to line the walk way.  I have seen these at the dollar tree last year but not this year.
Sierra Mist, Apples and Frozen berries
Chocolate covered strawberries are so easy to make
ingredients...strawberries and chocolate

Same thing for the cookies but make sure to warn the guests
that there still are fortunes in there.
